Even if those 2 don't actually get together in the show, the PE teacher is still going to be Hajime's father figure (as shown during the previous episodes following his mom's hospitalization, the reveal of the relations between Saeki & Hajime, etc.), which is probably something Hajime needed this entire time.

Agree, a father figure is nice :) Would be cool with his mom getting remarried having a new kid and passing the symbolic torch as an ending.

wait, they showed so many other students around, but they have the whole auditorium for themselves the whole day? where are the other schools? does the competition runs on several days with each school got a whole day.....or did they have several rooms dedicated to each school while the audience had to choose which room they are going? that's gotta be pretty sad for unknown schools cuz nobody would show up for them...or did they direct the audience into other rooms after each performance?

The performance they're about to do isn't for the competition. It's just their end of the school year concert (which is why they kept talking about it being the last time the 3rd year students & the 1st year students perform together, because the 3rd year students are graduating).

For a musical anime it's weak, on an episode by episode basis would say between a 6-8 this was around a 7 so mid ep for it

Quite probably yes. I don't think it was explained properly in the anime, but usually, every member of the school club (in this case, orchestra club) would still have to help organizing the club's event. There are many things that need to be prepared when a club wanted to started an event after all, especially in a big annual concert event like in this episode.

From what i think, based on this show only, the firsts (best) sit outside then the rest goes inside towards the center. Aono won because he sits behind Harada.
